This song for the Malayalam play “Bhasmanchal” produced and conceived by Shri Mohan Nair , composed by Shri has been one of the best experience and most emotional journeys for me as a singer. 🥹

By the end of this recording, I was in tears. 😭This wasn’t just about singing the right notes, but about truly feeling every word and learning how to express that emotion through my voice. This feels like a milestone for me.

If my voice is able to carry even a fraction of the emotion this song holds and you can feel it, It would mean a lot to me.

I feel truly blessed to have begun the program by singing the prayer , followed by the soulful bhajans of renowned artist Nandagovindam and the divine renditions of the great Veeramani sir. Iam humbled to have received felicitation and to sing at auditorium where so many legendary artists have performed ; it is always joy and a cherished moment 🙂

Devastated to hear about the untimely passing of Ganesh Krishnamurthi ( Mridangist and Ghatam player) last night. His untold contribution to music and his warm , kind spirit and wide smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I never imagined that our last concert will be the final one and it’s so difficult to come to terms to lose someone so talented and cherished.

I pray for strength and courage for his family during this incredibly hard time. May his soul rest in peace Ganesh Krishnamurthi and may his music continue to inspire and comfort us, even in absence.
