Yet another successful attempt at bringing serenity into eventful spaces!

The idea was to blend the concept of a brasserie and a conservatory - to use tones and elements that blur the boundaries between industrial space and Romanian Gardens. We created a beautiful, intimate enclosure with aesthetic greens and added a touch of modern-day fun with contemporary details and pretty corners 🪴

This place was the before. Long before all the other brands moved into this lane, this was an abandoned and dilapidated parking lot / banquet hall. The lane largely belonged to a local who owns 200+ rickshaws. They'd all be parked in the narrow street - drivers switching between shifts, money collection and daily wages happening over an abandoned 800. Abuses smelling of pan and to***co for all the drivers who've damaged the masters vehicles. At night the rickshaws would convert to a seedy motel scene with couples making out, drunks making their bed in em and in some, the cute little dogs that own the street.
Post Hoppi, this place really livened up and a lot of new bars opened. So when we were told to redo the space, we knew this whole lane inside out. We knew about the rains, the drains, the leakages, the cops, the BMC and the goons. We also knew what lay behind the plaster on these walls, this wall in particular. While Hoppi didn't age gracefully out of this location, we know the wall did.

Much love and team work went into making this favourite place.
Best time ever working with the awesomeness that is and it's beautiful team - too many sleepless nights and mid highway stops in the middle of nowhere to get on calls to sort things out. The outcome is pure collaboration and team work - because good teams argue and fight and make up, great teams know when to concede for the better of the project. And in this tug of war some real cool work was born.
And a big thank you to for being patient, supportive and giving us room to play.
