अवघ्या पंचवीशीतल्या मितालीनं जे . जे . स्कूल ऑफ आर्टसमधून शिक्षण पूर्ण केलं आणि नंतर अमेरिकेतील न्यूयॉर्क फिल्म अॅकॅडमीतून सिनेमामेकिंगचं तंत्रशुद्ध शिक्षण घेतलं . यातल्या खाचाखोचा समजून घेतल्या आणि मुंबईत आल्यावर यलो जिंजर फिल्म्स या नावाने स्वत : ची प्रॉडक्शन कंपनी स्थापन केली . या कंपनीने नुकतीच ' द फ्रीडम चेंजर्स ' ही आपली पहिली शॉटफिल्मही प्रदर्शित केली . ' मी अमेरिकेत फिल्ममेकिंगचं शिक्षण घेत असताना माझी अनेक तत्रज्ञांशी ओळख झाली . त्यांच्या तंत्रज्ञानाची मी माहिती करून घेतली . माझ्या कंपनीतर्फे मला अनेक विषयांवरच्या शॉर्टफिल्म बनवायच्या आहेत . माझं मूळ उद्दिष्ट आहे , आपल्या मातीतले विषय इथल्या आणि तिथल्या तंत्रज्ञाची सांगड घालून तिथल्या प्रेक्षकांसमोर पेश करायचे , त्यांना आंतरराष्ट्रीय दर्जा प्राप्त करून द्यायचा ', असं आपल्या प्रॉडक्शन कंपनीविषयी मिताली सांगत होती . आजवर मितालीला तिच्या कामासाठी अनेक पुरस्कारही मिळाले आहेत . छोटी सिनेमामेकर म्हणून इण्डस्ट्रीमध्येही तिची ओळख निर्माण होतेय .

My film - The Freedom Chasers won the best second runner-up award and one more award for best costumes in 48 Hour Mumbai International Film Project! Yellow Ginger's first venture received loads of appreciation and am sure our film is al set to enter many more festivals in future! Proud to present Yellow Ginger Films - very first production.Short film titled - The Freedom Chasers. The film will be have its first screening at Pelicula Auditorium, Whistling Woods International, Goregoan tom, i.e 24 Nov 2012. The film would be part of 48 hour film project.
