SAPNA LAKHE graduated as an architect from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture, Mumbai followed by a Post-graduation course in Architecture and Urban design from Pratt Institute, New York, USA. Our studio presented our ongoing conservation works of various forts in the state of Maharashtra at the National Conference of Conservation of Built Heritage led by the Director, Dr.Tejas Garge, Directorate of Archaeology and Museums.
The platform has been extremely encouraging and a thought provoking one with experts from ASI, bureaucrats of the field and the co-architects

Designing for a friend/client is a very interesting process as the brief is already in your head but also, can be nerve racking.
What an overwhelming year it has been to do the design process with these guys and we can say we sailed through it with a few rough patches here and there.
But all’s well that ends well.
