One of the most rewarding moments of any project for us is the handover, when the space shifts from drawings and decisions to something lived-in.
We’ve often had these conversations privately, but this was the first time we chose to capture one on camera. Honest, unfiltered, and so enjoyable; it’s enough to say this won’t be the last.

A few months ago, we shared early renders of a maximalist ice cream shop we were designing in Abu Dhabi. We’re very excited to share, it’s now open and officially scooping🍦
This one pushed us into new territory. Louder, more colourful, and unapologetically high on personality, unlike anything we’ve done before and that’s exactly what made it so much fun to bring to life.

Details from a stall exhibit designed for Ritika Wood

We recently designed an experiential stall exhibit space for a renowned wood brand and along with it being a unique work from our usual, it came with the challenge of having to be erected in under 48 hours, being able to be dismantled and stored, such that it can be assembled again.
We’ve worked quite hard to refine every last detail, with precision to reduce error and meet the deadline. Here’s a glimpse of what it entailed.

This one’s new! For the Entisi store at Jio we introduced a new addition to the suite of existing experiences: a dedicated counter for freshly baked cookies, with the option of finishing them with a dollop of molten chocolate raclette.
The counter was designed to accommodate a display unit showcasing the full range of cookie flavours, along with an open section for tasting and on-the-spot assembly. For this experience, electronic displays were introduced as a new element, allowing flavours to be updated and showcased in real time rather than through permanent visual merchandising.
The space is conceived as an interactive experience—one where customers can explore the offerings, taste and sample the product, and make a purchase with guidance from the store staff.

We love building a spatial language for consumer brands but I think what we love a little more, is the joy of replicating that language over and over across outlets and scales.

Siddhant Tikkoo and Nikita D’Silva
Our formative years were spent at an architecture and design school of new thought (Balwant Sheth School of Architecture), where individuality was encouraged to be explored and expressed. As two diametrically diverse thinkers, we seek to fuse our individual thought processes. Behind the obvious simplicity of our displays, is a plethora of design philosophies and questions, seeking to reach an equilibrium.
WHAT
At STaND, we prefer to approach our design process organically, whether it involves visiting new places, working with our hands, attending workshops or sketching outdoors. We enjoy working on almost all things design: Architecture, Interiors, Furniture and Product. We work to ensure that our designs are contextual, functional and sustainable.
