UV rays have been proven to reduce the risk of bacteria and viruses in air, water & surface for a very long time,
Specifically, UV-C rays with 253.7 nm are known to inactivate bacteria & viruses.
On the outbreak of COVID – 19 the UV-C system has been adopted worldwide to reduce the risk of the viruses.

Delhi Airport’s terminal-3 building HVAC system equipped with Ultraviolet lamps supplied and installed by Team Millennium thus delivering improved indoor air quality to all passengers of IGI Airport & also Save Power for IGI Airport.
This is the first such installation at an Airport in India.
UV light is used for killing bacteria and virus and a good solution for disinfection especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
