Arjan started learning. His mother started earning.
After beginning at our Beacon Learning Centre, five-year-old Arjan transitioned into formal school. Alongside him, his mother grew through the Community Champion programme and tailoring training, and now contributes towards her children’s education from what she earns.
This is what impact can look like when it reaches beyond one child.

What happens to one child can shape the path of their siblings too.
That is why Vision Rescue’s Sibling Program looks beyond the child enrolled at our Beacon Learning Centre to the brothers and sisters growing up alongside them.
By supporting siblings with school attendance, educational habits, and emotional wellbeing, the programme helps create a home where continuing education becomes the norm for everyone.
Because sometimes, helping one child stay on track means making sure their sibling does too.

A teacher can turn a classroom into a place a child wants to return to.
Today, we honour the educators at our Beacon Learning Centres whose patience and dedication help children take meaningful steps forward in their education.
Happy Teachers’ Day! 📚💛
How far is the journey to a brighter future?
For this child, it begins with a 20-minute walk.
Not because the distance is far, but because every step is taken at a child’s pace—hopping over puddles, jumping across steps, and finding little moments to play along the way.
From their doorway to the Beacon Learning Centre, this small journey brings them closer to a classroom, a lesson, and another day of learning.
The walk may be short. What it can lead to is much bigger.

No crisis. No breakthrough. Just a day that held.
The small acts of care that happen quietly and consistently are often the ones that make it possible for a child to keep showing up, learning, and growing.
Swipe through one very ordinary Tuesday.
What if the reason a child is struggling to follow a lesson is something no one has noticed yet?
Hearing difficulties in young children can easily go undetected. That’s why, in partnership with Montfort Care Mumbai , we’re conducting audiometry screenings for children at our Beacon Learning Centres.
So far, 262 BLC students in the Mandala community have been screened during this academic year, with the programme continuing across our other BLC locations.
Because sometimes, supporting a child’s education begins by noticing what may otherwise go unheard.
Thank you, , for partnering with us to help children hear, learn, and thrive.

For Sakeena’s family, the future used to feel like a choice between education and everything else.
Today, that conversation sounds very different.
Through the Ruby English School programme, Sakeena continued her education and moved into a private English-medium school. Alongside her progress, her family found greater stability at home and began looking ahead with confidence.
Sometimes, one child moving forward changes the way an entire family sees what is possible.

No portraits. Just the things that carried her through the day.
Each one points to something bigger around her: nourishment, learning, consistency, and a family being strengthened so education can remain part of everyday life.
Because sometimes the clearest evidence of impact is a day that simply works.
Swipe to see it in six things.
Sometimes, impact looks as ordinary as a tiffin carried home. 🍱
But inside it is something essential — a nutritious meal that helps ensure a child is not going hungry or at risk of malnourishment.
It travels from our Beacon Learning Centre into the everyday life of a child and their family, becoming more than food for a day. It becomes steady nourishment, relief for a parent, and quiet support that helps education continue without interruption.
Because when a child is well-nourished, they are better able to learn, grow, and simply be a child.
That is how lasting change often happens — one ordinary act at a time.
