'The Society for rehabilitation of crippled children' (SRCC) has been operational since 1950. The hospital will be managed by Narayan Health.
In 1950, the Society was granted lease of land at Haji Ali and 'The Children s Orthopedic Hospital' was started to provide medical and rehabilitation facilities. The Centre for child development today, is an independent unit and provides various therapies such as Physical,Occupational, speech and remedial education.
