It is my daily routine to read the script and memorise my dialogues giving assiduous attention to detail; I must internalize the rhetoric until the words feel less like a recitation and more like a spontaneous outburst.

In the era of film, photographers operated on a foundation of "blind faith," where technical mastery was the only bridge between a vision and its physical realization. Today, the instant feedback of a digital monitor provides a safety net, allowing us to rectify errors in real-time. While this technology guarantees technical precision, it often invites a "creative paralysis" where we spend more time squinting at pixels than observing the world.

We’ve gained the ability to never miss a shot, yet we’ve arguably lost the raw spontaneity that comes from trusting one’s intuition. This digital immediacy is a double-edged sword: it democratizes high-quality output but risks atrophying the visceral discipline that once defined the craft. Ultimately, while technology provides the map, the artistic soul must still be the one to choose the path.
