On Canvas: Bhailal Amin General Hospital

Freestyle and bold outline sketch of the interiors of Bhailal Amin General Hospital, Vadodara. The sketch emphasises on structure, light, and perspective in a modern reception lounge. The project consisted of an oncology block which has commissioned and the facility is of 13,000 sq. ft. The project was a Turnkey Design assignment, undertaken by HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd..

The reception shows the interaction of geometry, sleek designs, humans and wide windows for natural lighting.

As the 5th edition of the Healthcare Planning & Infrastructure Expo/Conference got concluded on this past Saturday, sharing a few glimpses and takeaways from the event -

Day 2 at the Healthcare Planning & Infrastructure Expo/Conference(HPIE)

Team HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd. receiving a Special Achievement Award for 3 Decades of Pioneering Contribution in Hospital Design, Planning & Healthcare Advisory at the 5th Edition of Healthcare Planning and Infrastructure Expo & Conference at the Constitutional Club, New Delhi, yesterday evening.

Team Hosmac were felicitated by renowned actor and star of the Indian Film Industry, Mr Raza Murad. The actor shared his perspective as how pioneers such as Hosmac are making healthcare more and more accessible.

We thank Team Medgate & HPIE for bringing industry veterans, policymakers, pioneers together, for advancing the cause of healthcare.

Day 1 at the Healthcare Planning & Infrastructure Expo/Conference 2026 (HPIE)

The first day of the comprehensive 3 day event was successfully concluded at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event was co-chaired by HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd.’s founder and managing director, Dr Vivek Desai.

The day began with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a keynote session by Dr Vivek on ‘Hospitals Without Walls’, where key facets of creating an healthcare ecosystem outside a hospital were showcased by our Managing Director. The event was then followed by lighting of the lamp, and informative presentations, and engaging discussions.

Throughout the day a lot of meaningful conversations took place. Hosmac’s welcomed curious minds, sharing our professional journey and portfolio with the attendees and audiences.

Ashoka Medicover Hospitals Nashik is one of the most trusted hospitals in Maharashtra, known for its expertise in medical care and advanced healthcare facility. This detailed sketch of the hospital, beautifully translates architectural precision into a fine-art medium. The sketchwork excels through its use of sharp, confident perspective lines that anchor the building's massive scale, while the delicate handstrokes utilise varied graphite pressure to lend a soulful, organic texture to the modern facade and surrounding greenery. The sketchwork relies on steady, purposeful lines that mirror the stability and care found within its walls, while the soft, hand-drawn strokes add a layer of warmth. It is a beautiful reminder that behind every great structure is a human hand and a vision for the community.

HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd. served as the Turnkey Designers for the project, which serves as a beacon of care to the population of Nashik & Maharashtra.

Team Hosmac recently visited the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies for their placement cycle. We were incredibly impressed by the caliber of students and the passion they brought to the table.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis officially inaugurated the first phase of the 1,200-bed Tapanbhai Patel Memorial Hospital in Shirpur on Saturday, marking a significant advancement for healthcare in North Maharashtra. Developed under the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), the project was spearheaded by current President and ex-Education Minister of Maharashtra Amrishbhai Patel, alongside with joint president, Bhupeshbhai Patel.

With a capacity of 1,200 beds, the hospital is set to transform the region's medical landscape by reducing dependence on distant urban center for specialised care. The facility is expected to serve patients not only from the local community but also from neighbouring cities like Indore and Nashik, providing high-quality healthcare closer to home. The Hospital facility is spread over 7 lakh sq.ft.
