Ronica from the Marketing team was very kind and patient to go through the issue and she conveyed to me about a salon-wide circular being sent out about their customer policy, she reiterated that their service are customer oriented and would love to hear feedback which further helps them to make policy decisions. It was very honest and candid conversation leading to processing a refund for the service and a complimentary blow-dry :) Thank you Bblunt team for making this experience seamless, kudos to hygiene protocols and customer experience policies!
Review:
I went to get a haircut at Bblunt Chembur this weekend. I was thrilled to get my first haircut after the lockdown to get a fresh cut. The whole experience was pretty seamless, from the appointment till exiting the salon. While leaving, I told both the stylist and front desk executive that I was I was extremely happy with the cut and result.
However I have mixed bag about the stylist, Shahnawaz. Our exchange started off well, he asked me if I had done any straightening in the past to which I responded negatively and joked about my preference for wavy hair. Shampoo and conditioning got done and it was time to show a reference picture for the haircut I desired. I showed a picture of same-length Bob which I got back in February, I explicitly mentioned that I wanted the same haircut since it’s more my style. He started with light trim and then giving a 360 makeover. I was asked if I liked the length which was collarbone grazing and I requested to take half an inch off. This is where things took a wrong turn. Haircut got done along with the blow dry- heat protectant was not applied. Cut was straightened to perfection and Shahnawaz added that he had added some “gradation” and “light layers”. I was a little puzzled because I told him to give me a same-length hair but he seemed proud of his creation and I was in awe of how it looked so like a normal person I said I was very happy with the cut but deep down I wasn’t which a story mostly everyone can relate to who’ve had bad haircuts.
I washed my hair and the straightening was of course gone. Out with the straightened manageable hair, I’m now left with weird outward facing-pointy layers. I’m extremely unhappy and just wanted to share with the team that if someone mentions very clearly about the hair cut you but anyway goes in another direction. I wasn’t even I consulted about the layers before giving the cut. I’m closing door for bblunt forever now. Loved the overall service but not the result and while visiting a salon you’re more result oriented.
