First Anniversary of Banyan Tree Re-plantation in MIT, Manipal campus…

More than 50 years old Banyan tree, which was uprooted due to heavy rains was shifted from Udupi and re-planted in MIT campus on August 21, 2017

Today, we celebrate the first anniversary of the Re-birth of this Banyan tree. We are happy to observe that this tree is growing fast and strong….!!

Having established as a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 in the year 1993, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal is on the verge of completing 25 years of fruitful existence in the year 2018 and we are on the threshold of celebrating this Silver Jubilee year in a grand and befitting manner.
