The Media Research Centre was set up in April 2016 with the aim of establishing a centre-of-excellence for ‘Research in Communication and Media’.
Thereof, the Centre shall partake in research activities with the following objectives: to examine the trends of the Media & Entertainment industry, and to understand the various communication processes/ strategies that edify the field; to promote collaboration and inter-disciplinary research in areas like medicine, agriculture, and other basic sciences.
