From ideas to real-world impact at

Vedanth delivered two immersive tech talks that showcased how ideas translate into real-world impact.

The sessions explored the BMAD Method, highlighting how structured workflows help teams and AI agents collaborate with clarity and speed, and Smart Surveillance, where live video evolves into intelligent, real-time insights powered by 3D spatial awareness. From concept to ex*****on, the talks demonstrated how modern systems can anticipate risks, minimize surprises, and drive high-impact outcomes.

Brought to life through hands-on demos and supported by Rion, the experience was both practical and deeply insightful.

At the Pre-AI Summit 2026, NITTE – Mangaluru, Yule Frances Lobo, Vice President – Engineering at , shared insights on how the AI market has matured beyond the era of “smart chatbots.”

The focus is now firmly on intelligent automation and end-to-end AI solutions that deliver measurable time and cost savings.

Key use cases highlighted included human-centric Voice AI as a first line of customer support, capable of handling queries while sensing customer emotions. Another strong use case discussed was process automation, digitizing handwritten forms and automating document workflows such as claims and PDFs.

The session also covered predictive maintenance, combining statistical models with Generative AI for industries like mining and manufacturing.

A critical challenge emphasized was unnecessary cost, often driven by using oversized LLMs for simple tasks. Mitigation strategies included right-sizing models with SLMs, breaking tasks into smaller components, and adopting hybrid AI architectures.

The takeaway, scalable AI success lies in using the right model for the right problem, not the biggest one.

A proud and nostalgic moment for Prasad P. Kamath - HR Manager at CodeCraft Technologies, to be back at his alma mater, Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, as part of the INSPIRE Alumni Rekonnect Series.
