Our heart is set in Indian heritage and our dream is to make that heritage part of our everyday lives.

Playful meenakari earrings with a structured dress, an old tribal necklace with a leather jacket or a traditional kundan choker with a white shirt – that’s how we envision the Raabel woman.

We understand that women making their mark in modern India juggle with many roles and each environment calls for a different look. From official meetings, weddings and holidays to casual lunch with friends and family. That drives us every single day to create a world that can fulfill all her jewellery needs and effortlessly transition her from one part to the next.

FOUNDER

Raabel is the result of many years of not knowing what not to do, for Founder, Madhur Bharwani who Graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai and started her career as a fashion journalist at Vogue India followed by Grazia India.

After eight years in the city closest to her heart- Bombay; Bharwani moved back to her hometown Lucknow, to join her family business of fine jewellery. Having been born to artistic and dynamic parents coupled with her own love for fashion, her passion for jewellery and entrepreneurship finally caught up with her and found a voice in Raabel.

Founded in 2011, Raabel became the first authentic silver jewellery brand in Lucknow and currently operates from a beautiful boutique style store in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

In a country obsessed with gold, buying a beautiful piece of jewellery purely for its aesthetic appeal and craftsmanship takes a backseat and ‘investment’ becomes key. More often than not, women don’t end up buying what they actually like. That is something that always saddened me especially because we are a country that produces some of the most indulgent jewellery in the world.”

Raabel happened because we want to change that and create a guilt-free and stress-free jewellery experience. We want women to celebrate themselves and indulge in what catches their fancy. We don’t believe that heritage was meant for lockers; it belongs to us and deserves to be part of our everyday lives.
