So, in a pretty simple town that thrived on its slow place and over burdening societal norms, we grew up to his music, which now represents a lot more than it did way back then. One of the very firsts artists we all were ceremoniously introduced to, primarily because it was cool. But that's when the thoughts behinds the words being sung struck and we found ourselves, and many others, who could relate to it, not only by words but by the voice too.
While the world pays tribute to this man in particular and opens up yet another debate, the reality remains to be the fact that we all have a major part of our childhood taken away, right there with him.
