UPMA organised workshop on Gender Sensitization on 6 february 2024 Hotel Lineage with the resource agency Association for Advocacy and Legal Initiatives Trust (AALI) . They throw some lights on sexual harrassment and the acts which are unwelcomed to anyone, they can spread awareness on unwelcomed acts inside or outside the agency.

UPMA governing body meeting was convened on 20th January 2024 Hotel Lineage . Where 21 participants were there from 16 organisations.The meeting commenced with the welcome address by Trilok Nath Shukla Sir chairman of UPMA followed by Akhilesh Singh sir CFO of Sonata and CEO of UPMA Sudhir Sinha Sir

VI state microfinance conference was held on 20th novemeber at Taj Hotel, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow in which Chief guest Kunwar Brijesh Singh(Hon'ble state minister, PWD) present virtually with us, Mr. H R khan (former deputy governor RBI), Mr. Navneet Sahal (IAS, Ex add. Chief secretary, GOUP), Vivek Tiwari (MD, Satya Microfin),Mr.Prakash Kumar (DMD, SIDBI), Sunanda Bose(GM, NABARD) etc. Were present day on the glorious 10th anniversary of UPMA and shared their panoramic view on microfinance and release their statistical data report and honored the quiz winners and cricket team winner as well as runner up. And had panel discussion on the topics Microfinance contribution to State GDP of 1 trillion Dollar by 2027.This event was successfully organised by Mr. Sudhir Sinha CEO, UPMA. Discussion on contribution to promote one trillion dollar economy in the state.

In a press conference organized by Microfinance Association of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow, information was given about the 10th annual function of Upma, which is going to be organized at Lucknow Taj on 20th November. In this convention, Kunwar Brijesh Singh, Minister of State, Uttar Pradesh Government has given his consent as the chief guest and HR Khan, former Governor of Reserve Bank of India, as the keynote speaker. Sinha said that the main and very important topic of discussion has been chosen in this annual convention which is going to be held in Lucknow on 20th November. And that is one trillion in Uttar Pradesh

Senior officials of RBI and SIDBI will participate. Micro Finance Association of Uttar Pradesh organizes its annual program every year. This year the organization is also completing ten years of its establishment.

What will be the contribution of microfinance companies in making the goal of dollar economy successful? Many financial experts, CEOs of micro finance companies as well as NABARD were present in this conference.

It was established on 15 December 2013. Micro finance institutions are registered with the Reserve Bank of India and provide employment loans to the weakest section of the society at their home locations. Thirty organizations working in similar fields are associated with ESO. On this occasion Sudhir Sinha, Chief Executive Officer of Esso, Trilok Shukla, Bharat Singh from Sarathi Credit Care and Anoop Singh from Sonata Finance.
