Extremely happy to share the MOU (memorandum of understanding) signing between Labkem Path labs & Aabir Bioservices, an NGO working dedicatedly in the field of cervical cancer.

This MOU has been signed with following objectives:

To engage in skilled based training for UG/PG and Ph.D students and promote Research & Development in Gynecological Cancer and other Preventive Health related to women and girls in India at ”Labkem Center of Excellence for Gynecological Cancer and Research”.
To promote HPV DNA testing as primary screening for cervical cancer in Uttar Pradesh in association with Aabir Bio-Services Foundation and make HPV DNA and LBC co-testing more affordable and accessible to all individuals and the underprivileged population.

Aabir Bio-Services Foundation Aabir Bio-Services Foundation is “not-for-profit” Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is independent of commercial and political interests.

Labkem Path Lab is happy to share the inauguration of “Labkem Center of Excellence for Gynecological Cancer Screening and Research” . This center is first of its kind in entire state of Uttar Pradesh fully focused on Gynecological Disorders and Cervical cancer only. With this Labkem aims to spearhead the cervical cancer awareness, training research and diagnosis program in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This center aims to significantly reduce the impact of cervical cancer on women in Uttar Pradesh.

The center was inaugurated by Dr. Archana Mishra, Professor & HOD Gynecology Hind Medical College along with Dr. Kauser Neyaz from Aabir Bioservices foundation & Dr. Nicole Mohajer who is Royal Fellow of Australian College of General Practitioners. They shared their valuable insights into the current stage of cervical diagnosis and how they see the cervical diagnosis to progress so as to reach the masses. They also emphasized equally on importance of cervical cancer screening in females and also raising the awareness among general masses because Despite the World Health Organization recommending a minimum of 70% screening for women, only 1.9-2% females undergo cervical cancer screening in India.

Labkem’s vision is to become the most preferred partner in laboratory diagnostics in Gynecological disorders. We believe that developing accurate, innovative and cost effective solutions for various Gynecological disorders including Cervical cancer/HPV testing will be helpful for society at large and will create a focused domain for future Labkem journey.
