President's rule is the suspension of state government and imposition of direct Union government rule in a state. Under Article 356 of the Constitution of India, in the event that a state government is unable to function according to Constitutional provisions. Subsequently, executive authority is exercised through the centrally appointed governor.

Lets look at the number of scheduled banks' offices and ATMs per 1 Lakh population.

1. It seems that in the past 14 years (Jan 2006 to Dec 2020), presence of banks has doubled. These offices include bank branches, clerical offices, regional/zonal offices, head offices. ranks #1 followed by West Bengal and Lakshadweep.

2. has the most ATMs per 1 lakh population followed by Dadra & Nagar Haveli ( #2).
