PLANET is a Mental Health Clinic run by a group of experienced therapists from the area of Psychology, Speech and Hearing Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
The project includes developing a logo including the design work of all the related materials needed to run a clinic.
The idea behind the logo is the twisted cord illusion also known as Fraser spiral illusion, it is an optical illusion that was first described by the British psychologist Sir James Fraser in 1908.
When talking about psychology the first word that comes to common people's minds is hypnotism, and when they see a twisted cord illusion they think about hypnotism and psychology, so I plan to develop a logo from this concept by combining the Clinic name Planet and it works out really well, please check out few of the materials below and I would love to know your comment on this!

Over the past three decades, the Department of Psychology, University of Calicut has been one of the premier institutes to provide university-level training programs and advanced researches in the area of psychology and developmental disabilities. In addition to regular teaching and research activities, the department of psychology has been conducting a massive project - Community Disability Management and Rehabilitation Program (CDMRP), with the financial support of Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala. CDMRP provides comprehensive, evidence-based disability management and rehabilitation services to children with developmental disabilities (including Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment and Psychosocial Rehabilitation) through community-based rehabilitation approach.

The Challenge was to develop a theme for the National Conference that can be applied throughout the materials using for the conference.
