We are hiring Civil Engineers for an upcoming project Edappal

Retaining Wall Construction in a Landslide-Prone Area

This project involved the construction of a retaining wall measuring 340 meters in length and 21 meters in height in a high-risk landslide zone. Executing such a large-scale structure during the peak monsoon season presented significant challenges.

The affected stretch of NH 66 remained blocked for 22 days, adding urgency and complexity to the project. Despite the difficult conditions, our team demonstrated exceptional commitment by working tirelessly day and night to ensure timely completion.

The project was carried out in coordination with the PMC, JLL, and the structural consultants, Design Academy, Bangalore. With the continuous efforts of our dedicated crew and the unwavering support of our client, Mr. Faizal Kottikollon, we successfully completed the work on schedule.

Safety remained our top priority throughout the ex*****on. The retaining wall was constructed using high-strength, custom-made wall formwork along with a Cuplock scaffolding system to ensure structural integrity and efficiency.

This project stands as a testament to our capability in handling high-risk retaining wall construction. Our custom-designed shuttering system ensured a smooth surface finish with minimal joints.

For us, this was not just a project, but an invaluable experience that strengthened our expertise in challenging environments.
