Students celebrated MASCOM Day on 7 February 2024. The well-curated event featured displays of their lab papers and magazines and showcased their video proficiency through the screening of documentary films. A live radio broadcast and a demonstration of AI in journalism were well received. The event was attended by media professionals and students from various schools and colleges.

"Thrilled to announce that the latest editions of The Fourth Estate and Jalakam have been published by our current batch of students. This year, they're coming out as a broadsheet! A big congratulations to all for their dedication and hard work. Well done, students!"

MASCOM students had the unique opportunity to engage with eminent personalities participating in Malayala Manorama's HORTUS festival, held from the 1st to the 3rd of November. They wrote articles and conducted interviews with well-known figures, contributing to this vibrant celebration that fosters the exploration of diverse artistic expressions.

In the Outlook magazine survey this year, MASCOM has retained its position at number five.

Among the mass communication institutes, MASCOM has moved up one rank this year in the India Today colleges survey. In the magazine's survey, we are also number three among the top 10 emerging mass communication colleges.
