My artisans don’t wait for my brief anymore. Sometimes they just arrive — with a design I didn’t ask for, a motif they imagined, a colour I wouldn’t have thought to try.
And more often than not, that’s the one that becomes a saree.
The market changed. Women wanted something different — lighter, more wearable, more alive. And our artisans felt it before I even had to say it out loud.
AaMe has always been a co-creation. Their hands. Their instinct. My eye. My platform.
