For Cyber Safe India, pls dont write PAN, AADHAAR and Mob Number beside the names of the parties while registering a deed. Pls don't attach these KYCs of the parties with the registered deed (as it is made non-mandatory by Govt). If AADHAAR is to be given somewhere, use masked AADHAAR. Lock Biometrics for every AADHAAR from MAadhaar App. Avoid providing AADHAAR data while checking in at hotels. Avoid filling up feedback forms at Restaurants.
Our Data Protection must be Our PRIORITY.

AI-related frauds can take various forms, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for malicious purposes. Some common types of AI-related frauds include:
1. Deepfake Fraud: Deepfake technology is used to create highly realistic fake videos or audio recordings of individuals, often for fraudulent purposes such as impersonation, spreading false information, or committing identity theft.
2. AI-Enhanced Phishing: Attackers use AI to craft more convincing phishing emails and messages. AI can personalize messages, making them appear more legitimate and increasing the likelihood of a successful phishing attack.
3. Algorithmic Trading Fraud: In financial markets, fraudsters can manipulate AI-driven trading algorithms to execute fraudulent trades or engage in market manipulation, causing financial losses for investors.
4. Fake News and Misinformation: AI can be used to generate and spread fake news articles, social media posts, or reviews, influencing public opinion and causing reputational damage or financial harm.
5. Voice Synthesis Fraud: Criminals can use AI-generated voice synthesis to mimic someone's voice, potentially gaining unauthorized access to systems or tricking individuals into taking specific actions, including password and banking credential sharing, money extortion by showing false kidnapping of a family member etc.
6. AI-Generated Content Fraud: AI can be used to generate fake content such as product reviews, articles, or social media posts, which can be leveraged for deceptive marketing or reputation management.
7. Automated Fraud Detection Evasion: Fraudsters may employ AI techniques to evade detection by fraud detection systems, adapting their tactics to avoid raising suspicion.
8. AI-Generated Malware: Cyber-criminals can use AI to develop more sophisticated malware that is harder to detect and can adapt its behavior to evade security measures.
9. AI Chat-bot Scams: Malicious chatbots can use AI to engage with users, pretending to be customer support representatives or legitimate entities to steal personal information or money.
10. Credential Stuffing Attacks: AI can automate the process of using stolen usernames and passwords from one platform to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, leveraging the power of automation for fraudulent activities.
11. AI-Powered Social Engineering: Attackers can use AI to analyze social media profiles and other public data to craft more convincing social engineering attacks, making it easier to manipulate individuals into disclosing sensitive information.
12. AI-Generated Identity Theft: AI can assist in creating synthetic identities by combining real and fake information, making it challenging for traditional identity verification systems to detect fraudulent identities.
Preventive Measures:
1. Always cross check, call back or email back before taking any steps or sharing data. Never ever pay money.
2. Avoid posting sensitive information on social media like mob num, email id, date of birth, photos showing your address, car registration number, school college class name, certificates, bio data, banking data and others.
3. Use registered antivirus and anti-malware softwares in your computer, laptops, tabs and mobile devices.
4. Cover your fingers on the front camera while receiving video calls from any numbers.
5. Get cyber safety training from experts because sensitisation is the only key to be safe from cyber attacks.
6. If you are affected, immediately lodge your complaint with www.cybercrime.gov.in and contact your local police station or cyber police station. Consult an expert for further legal processes.
