Abraham Maslow’s “Hierarchy of needs” reveals a five-stage model decoding the needs that drive human behavior. At the very base of it, sits our physiology, encompassing basic yet self-preserving needs such as sleep, water, food and shelter. This primality of our needs reveals the weakest yet most vital facet of our existence as humankind. As designers, this is where we begin. The zero, the zenith, the first step at the Big Bang.
