Panikhali Rural Development Society - PRDS

Our newest group of students, who were enrolled last month, has settled into our centres. The pre-nursery students are three years old.

The children will build a strong foundation in social, pre-academic, and general life skills, giving them a leg up in school and their development. 

It's been wonderful to see the students enthusiastically attending classes and taking the first steps on their education journey.

The Annual Sports Day took place in our Boria Centre Today.

This morning, the centre students participated in a variety of fun events.

It's been a busy start to the new year with the new school session beginning.

In our centres, students have been promoted to the next class, and new admissions have been made.

We're delighted, as always, to see the incredible enthusiasm among our students and teaching staff.

Everyone in PRDS looking forward to another productive and successful school year.

Our students are currently taking their end-of-year exams in our centres. These in-centre exams are being held before the ones they will take next month in the government-run schools.

Our exams allow the students to practice sitting exams and allow our teachers time to give students feedback before sitting for their end-of-year exams in December.

Every morning, our Class 9 and 10 students attend our centres. They receive lessons from our specialised teachers, who assist them with their subjects and prepare them for exams.

Thanks to our support, we are pleased to see an increase in the number of students in recent years. There are growing numbers each year going on to complete board exams.

The guess the fruit game in Alor Disha Centre always produces plenty of fun and excitement among the pre-school students

Before beginning their lessons today, the preschool students from Alor Disha Centre paid their respects to Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on his 205th birth anniversary.

He was an educationalist, social reformer and advocate of women's empowerment.

The students gathered to learn about his life and placed flowers on his portrait this morning

Every evening the students from Classes 5-8 come to our centres for their evening tuition. 

Our teachers provide classes to support the students in their subjects, keep up to speed, and prepare them for exams.

Yesterday, we distributed sponsorships to the older students from Class 11 and 12, as well as college students. Our partner organisation, , supported the sponsorships for the eighth year in a row.

It fills our management and teachers with great pride to see the continued development of our long-time students.

We wish them continued success in their studies and look forward to maintaining our connection with them into the future.

This week, we celebrated Teachers Day in our centres. The events were entirely organised and hosted by our students to show their appreciation for all our teachers.

The events included songs, dances, and dramas performed by the students. Each teacher received a gift from the students to acknowledge the hard work of their teachers throughout the year.

This week, we will be celebrating Teachers' Day in our centres. The older students are currently busy planning the upcoming celebrations.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to our teaching staff, who work tirelessly throughout the year to help our students with their studies.
