Bara Imambara, Lucknow ❤️🔥

Bara Imambara was constructed by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula in 1784. It is a magnificent historical monument in Lucknow that is well-known for its enormous central hall, Bhool Bhulaiya, and its distinctive construction that does not make use of wood or iron.
Shia Muslims are blessed by Bara Imambara. Many spiritual ideas were exchanged by Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara throughout 10 days of Maharam.
In the center of the hall, a beautiful Taaj is glorified.
This monument was created by Kifayatullah.

Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, his one & only beautiful wife Shamsunnisa Begum and his architect Kifayatullah were buried in the center of the colonnade. 🌼
