One of the things we love doing is converting a fabulous sari into an even more fabulous dress. There's a certain joy in discussing ideas and their workability, and finally giving them shape.

So when Sony Mathew of The Party Store fame approached us with this gorgeous bride-red sari, we were as excited as she was. We discussed ideas, we discarded ideas, and we finally decided to go with a long, asymmetrical kurta and a pleated skirt, and this is the result!
