Fine Robustas have always been close to our hearts, and this one adds yet another layer to our journey of discovering truly exceptional lots.
gets its name for Hebbagillu - Kannada for “great gateway”. Run by Mr Devdas Menezes since 1996, he is a 3rd generational grower who has pioneered specialty harvests and post harvests for both Arabica and Robusta, and believes in a bright future for Robusta. He has worked with .attic to process this lot.
We got our hands on a beautiful bodied batch - an anaerobic Honey fermented twice for 60 hours. The cherries were stored in Ecotact bags, then pulped, and stored in Ecotact bags again.
After six months of experimentation and five distinct roast profiles, we’ve arrived at this expression — one that best highlights the character of this coffee. We’re releasing it in a limited batch at a special price to invite your palate into the conversation. Your feedback will shape how we take this coffee forward in future roasts.

Ever feel stuck with only one grind size and a mug? This one’s for all of us who want better-tasting coffee, no matter what equipment we use.
1. ⏱️ Brew Time: Add 30 seconds if your cup is weak or sour. More time = more flavor extracted without any fancy gear.
2. 🌡️ Water Temp: Boiling water? Wait 30 seconds before pouring—that’s your golden zone (90-96°C).
3. ⚖️ Amount: Start with 2 heaping tablespoons per cup. Too weak? Add a half spoon next time. No math degree required.
Specialty coffee isn’t about perfect scales, collectable kettles, or chic lofts. It’s for wherever you are, with whatever you have, and anyone looking for a tastier morning.
