What does that mean?
Entropy means, the degree of randomness. So everything in the universe will naturally be in the randomness (distracted/scattered).
Have you seen the stars at night? Why are they not arranged properly in lines? You throw a few stones on the ground, no matter thousands of times, they will never take positions in a straight line. Arranging clothes in a wardrobe requires effort, but they will be scattered naturally in a few days.
So our Brain is also part of this universe, how it can be focused naturally? It requires effort.
2) Our Brain was designed to save energy and it will always try to save energy. ๐

This is one of the reasons, why some people go into sleep while doing meditation because their brains prefer to sleep instead of putting energy to focus on one object.
3) We still carry an ancient brain that was developed to survive in the age when people had to struggle with wild animals daily. Communication is not only how well you speak or write a language, communication is also about using the right words at the right places to get the right response from the Universe.

๐๐๐๐๐๐. When we use such sentences our brain completely discards the statement before "But". For our brain avoiding pain becomes important and it completely discards "๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐". So if you have two conflicting desires replace "But" with the "And".

Someone said this to me today "I am overweight". I asked him what is your name? He replied with a beautiful name. Then I asked again, why are you calling yourself overweight then? You may have a few Kg more than the average, but that doesn't mean you identify yourself with the name "overweight"
Someone who is suffering from Asthma says, I am Asthmatic. My question to them is, how many hours in a day?
You can be asthmatic for 30-40 min at maximum rest of the time you are healthy. Why don't you choose to say I have slight breathing issues. Never give fancy names to your diseases and never put them as your identity.
The message that I want to convey here is never associate a negative word with your identity, when we do so it is very difficult to come out of it.
Someone who puts fat as his/her identity, no matter how much effort they make to stay fit, In few days they will lose the momentum and their body will again match to their Identity.
So when you are making a shift in your life, please check what your inner Identities are and if any Identity is not aligned with what you are planning to be, first change your identity.
Identity is what you prefix after " I am".
So what is your Identity?

Are our electronic gadgets diminishing our attention span?
Are you someone who constantly checks your technological devices while reading or working?
We sometimes refer to this as effective working because we are accomplishing our major tasks while simultaneously keeping an eye on critical emails or text messages that come in. But how many times do we check our phones without receiving any notifications? We become anxious when we do not hear any notification sounds for an extended period of time and just pick up our phone to see whether everything is okay.
Dr. Larry Rosen, a research psychologist recognized as an International expert in the "Psychology of Technology," conducted a study on 260 middle school, high school, and university students and asked them to study at their homes for 15 minutes. He found that participants on average switched their tasks in less than 6 minutes of studying due to technology distractions like phone vibrations, mobile notifications, email alerts, as well as self-interruptions.
Dr. Rosen referred to this as task switching. These distractions take us away from what we were doing. Our brain's focus shifts away from the original task and toward our electronic devices. When we return to our original tasks, we lose time attempting to remember what we were thinking or doing.
Nowadays, the average human attention span is 8.25 seconds, which is less than the goldfish (9 seconds), which was thought to be the most distracted species on the planet.
One method for improving attention span and productivity is to take a technology break. We should take a short break to check our electronic gadgets after at least 15 minutes of productive work, and this should be extended up to 30-40 minutes, when we learn to constantly work for 15 minutes.

How do you see "Nirvana Shatakam" ?
I see it as a deep guided meditation. Essentially states, "I am Shiva" (Shivoham), composed by Adi Shri Shankaracharya. Should I thus think of myself as Shiva, or does it inspire us to embody Shiva's attributes?
Here, Shiva is a state of mind.

Can anyone achieve state of Shiva permanently?
I'm not sure, nor am I concerned; even if I only experience this state for a moment, it will be pure happiness, and the longer one experiences the state of pure consciousness (Shiva), the more bliss they will experience in their lives.
