STAY with the person until the seizures subsides.
Help the person sit in a SAFE place. If they can communicate, tell them what just happened.
Turn the person gently onto their SIDE if they are not awake and aware. This will help them breathe.
Call emergency services if the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes or the person does not return to their usual state.
