The 3rd edition of Bengaluru Print Exchange international (BPEI)2023opens with the lighting by Shri Chi Su Krishna Setty, an Eminent artist, printmaker, former chairman of Lalitkala Akademi, New Delhi, India. A heartfelt thanks to Participant printmaker, who attended the show: namely Dimple B Shah, Urmila V G, Suresh Kumar Sambath Kumar- Chennai, A Naveen Kumar, Manjunath Honnapura. The 60 printmaker 26 international+ 34 National) brings the best of Printmaking to offer in terms of narratives and techniques.

After finishing my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Allahabad, I pursued my Master's degree in Kurukshetra. Surprisingly, I shifted my focus from painting to printmaking, which was a new experience for me. Despite initially wanting to avoid this subject, it became an integral part of my life. During my time in Allahabad, I extensively practiced street photography. One particular photograph I took during the pandemic caught my attention, and I decided to recreate it using the woodcut medium. After converting it into a graphic print, the whole process took about 1 and 1/2 months to complete.

My first madhubani painting work on wall. It's tough for me and also time taking.
