• A MOMENT IN THE FOG •

A beautiful morning experienced while taking a cycle ride in the early hours. The streets of Jorhat was covered with fog, and at one point of time, reached the Na - Ali railway crossing.
The people were busy in their own ways, some were walking while some taking a stroll on the iron tracks.

• MORNING HUES •

The early morning moments under the hazy sunlight.

• FOR LIVELIHOOD •

A moment with the daily wage workers. The trucks come down to the Nimati ghat and then these workers carry the bags which consists of sand, cement etc to the boats bound for Majuli through machine Indian boats.

The magical evening skies of Assam... when the sun sets, leaving a hue of orange colour upon the water of the mighty Brahmaputra.
The golden hue, the returning of the people back home after a long day work.. and the cool winds which gives a fresh mood to the evening lovers.

Green Assam

॥ LIFE DURING FLOOD ॥

Every year during this period of time, Assam faces flood every year.
Came across this family who were heading back home, the road which they took is completely overflowed by the river water.
Water - Hyacinth, a plant mostly known as "Meteka" in assamese covers the waterbody, making it impossible for the unknown people to recognise where in the water is the land and the deep waterbeds. So as these people go ahead to their homes, they face leeches and other dangers such as snakes. So travelling among these water bodies is indeed a risk of life.

The hardships that Assam face every year, but no one cares.

A farmer's dream - Green fields

The month is July and farmers goes to the paddy fields in the early morning hours to plant the green saplings so that they can have a good harvest.

॥ HIDE AND SEEK ॥

The blissfull moments of the morning. As the lockdown is around the corner, so much irritated staying in home, went to the rural side to have a moment amidst nature.
So as now the saplings are planted on the green fields, noticed this young kid who was studying in the small red chair while her parents worked on the field. Ones they are done, they were about to pack up when the kid noticed me and was circling around her mother. A time came when she posed for a HIDE & SEEK moment. The cute smile on the child's face, the happy moments of childhood.
