Meru Security Services head office is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan and the company operates throughout the state. Meru Security Services is a, DGR (Director General Resettlement) approved, family owned business which was established in 2011 by the Col. Chauhan (Retd). The Company has steadily expanded over the years into a respected supplier of extensive security services catering to the needs of a disparate client group from Private Householders to Multinational Companies, Central Government and Nationalised Banks. Meru Security Services holds a valid Security Agency license under ' The Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, issued by the Government of Rajasthan. Meru Security Services personnel are highly trained, experienced, licensed and Police Verification vetted. All are direct employees of the Company and have undertaken confidentiality agreements to protect our client’s integrity. Meru Security Services is an experienced provider of quality retail guarding services. The Company guards a number of Nationalized Banks, State Owned Petroleum Companies, Luxury Resorts and Hotels and Retail Parks for corporate clients. We recognize that loss prevention is of paramount concern to all businesses, large or small, as well as maintaining the goodwill of your customers and employees. We approach our duties with this very much in mind offering a range of security options such as covert store detectives, uniformed meet and greet operatives, delivery and dispatch control, routine and random personnel search procedures, anti-social behavior monitoring with active interventions and prevention of damage to property. The trainings provided to the Security Guards are of utmost importance to the client and we, at Meru Security Services concur with the fact. We have some of the best talent in the field of private security in our team and they provide excellent trainings to our security guards. The trainings provided to each guard upon being recruited are Basic Training on Security, Guest Handling, Reception and Telephone queries, Behavioral Sciences, Fire Fighting and prevention, Handling and Management of Crisis Situations. Refresher training is mandatory for all the security personnel appointed by the company. On the Job training is inbuilt. SELECTION/ TRAINING OF SECURITY GUARDS
Understanding the special needs of our clients and customizing our services according to the requirements is our company policy. Hence, security guards are recruited for each post keeping in mind the personality and profile desired by the client. Our essential recruitment Qr.’s are as follows:
• Must be physically fit and mentally robust.
• Minimum height should be 5’6”.
• Should have a minimum qualification of being a matriculate but preference is given to XII and the age should be in the range of 20 to 40 years.
• Should be able to read and write in Hindi and English and should have a high level of IQ.
• Character antecedents are verified through authorized police sources. We strongly believe that our guards are our backbone and therefore their performance and personality reflect upon our standards. To ensure that the guards match up to high standards in quality, all our



guards have to undergo a selection process where they are screened for their qualities of intelligence, interest, courtesy, integrity and motivation and individuals who can operate under stressful situation and communicate well. The security guards at Meru Security Services are also trained in:

Col. SK Chauhan (Retd.): An ex- Army officer, Col. SK Chauhan is the Founder Director of Meru Security Services. He is a highly motivated professional with over three decades of extensive experience in General Administration, Human Resource, Logistics, Security Operations and Man Management. He is an effective communicator with excellent negotiation, leadership, planning and social skills that can build and maintain relations across and beyond organizations. He has a vast experience in dealing with source/ intelligence, law and order situations, Counter insurgency Operations, Interrogation, Rescue Operations, Surveillance, Logistics and Training Management, Crisis/ Disaster Management, Ambushes/ Search and Protection teams. Prashant Chauhan: Prashant Chauhan is a professional banker with over 11 years of experience in leading private banks in the country. He has hands-on knowledge of people management and behavioral sciences, having handled large teams as part of his work profile. He has been actively involved in soft skill training at the corporate level and understands the nuances of the corporate world. After a successful career in banking, he has forayed into the field of security services to provide a fresh insight and youth-oriented professional approach to the family business.
