Kashmir’s papier mâché, still alive today, gives discarded paper a second life. Artisans hand paint each bauble with birds, flowers, and chinar leaves, preserving centuries of craft.

Fiona Balfour’s carousel designs add a playful, modern twist, turning each bauble into a miniature fairground where heritage, folklore, and whimsy meet.
