🌱 Traditional Seed Festival 2024

Organized across 36+ villages by 22 member CSOs, this festival celebrated indigenous seeds and sustainable farming.

✔ 400+ traditional seed varieties exchanged

✔ 4,300+ farmers participated

✔ Focus on biodiversity, low-cost natural farming & local knowledge

SDIA held its General Body Meeting on 10–11 May in Bhopal.

The gathering created space for meaningful dialogue around our shared efforts this year, from project updates to grassroots impact.

Highlights included:

-Reflections on the Seed Festival and field experiences from member CSOs

-Discussion on ongoing activities and current challenges

-A moment of celebration for the release of the 3rd edition of our newsletter

-Heartfelt congratulations to Manjiri Chande, President of Pararth Samiti and a dedicated SDIA network member, for receiving the Nari Shakti Award 2025 for her contributions as a social change-maker

These conversations strengthen our collective vision and deepen the spirit of collaboration across the network.
