However, if you have thought that the problem is not evident in your neighborhood, you are gravely mistaken. terms such as 'AQI, PM2.5, PM10 near me', the reality would be in front of you. Good AQI is 0 to 50. Did the google result show you such numbers? No, right?

Let us try to understand certain terms first:
a) An air quality index is used by government agencies to communicate to the public how polluted the air currently is or how polluted it is forecasted to become.

b) stands for Particulate Matter. Both PM2.5 and PM10 can be inhaled. Some of them may deposit throughout the airways. PM2.5 is more likely to travel into and deposit on the surface of the deeper parts of the lung leading to very harmful diseases.

Now, coming on to facts:
As per a report, kills an estimated 70 Lakh people worldwide every year. Moreover, we are fighting with Covid this year, which targets an infected individual's lungs. -19 has killed 13.1 Lakh people worldwide as of now.
