“I am a part of Navjeevan, a group of college students who give their time to educate the underprivileged children. I loved spending time with kids and thus, I became a part of this group a few years ago. Once, i met a child who had lost his parents but he was still taking part in all the activities and learning what we taught with full enthusiasm. I believe we have everything friends, family, privileges but we are never really satisfied with it. We always look for more.
My biggest dream is to work for the welfare of these lovely children and help groups like navjeevan demolish illiteracy from our country. I also hope to become a motivational speaker one day, and help the world realize how important it is to be happy with what you have.”

“I have been repairing cycles for the past 43 years but that never came in the way of my willingness to learn English. I guess making money was never my first priority but being free was. Sometimes I ask students who come here to get their cycles repaired to teach me some new words and sometimes I learn on my own. I even practice English speaking and writing for 3-5 hours daily. That’s how I will get better. I don’t think there is any boundaries to learning. You just have to be interested.”

“ My friends used to encourage me to make sandwiches. Food is my hobby & i love making, eating and making people eat good food. I believe in a good & healthy diet not a carb free diet that these youngsters follow. Just like car needs petrol, your body needs fuel too. So eat healthy, eat well.”
