TYAcan Foundation was proud to be present at CANREHAB 2026 — the 4th International Multi Disciplinary Conference on Cancer Rehabilitation, held at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Archana Singh represented TYAcan alongside distinguished colleagues including Dr. Savita Goswami, Dr. Purna Kurkure, Dr. Vandana Dhamankar, and leaders from the Indian Cancer Society.
A conference built around the theme "Expanding Horizons, Enhancing Evidence, Empowering Lives" three words that sit at the heart of everything TYAcan stands for.
For us, rehabilitation is not the end of the cancer journey. For a 17-year-old, it is the beginning of the rest of their life.
Grateful to be part of this conversation at the highest level.

Arvind Bamnia is 14 years old. He lives in a small village in Ujjain District. He had lymphoma.
He received a bone marrow transplant — and he did not have to pay for it.
Because treatment is not a privilege. It is a right.
On Ambedkar Jayanti, TYAcan reaffirms that every child in the world deserves access to a cure for six childhood cancers:
Lymphoma · Eye Cancer · Leukemia · Hodgkin Disease · Kidney Cancer · Brain Tumor
Babasaheb spent his life fighting for equity and social justice. Let us carry that forward — into our hospitals, our policies, and our communities.
No child should be denied a cure because of where they were born.

We are proud to share a significant milestone in patient care and recovery.
Arvind, a 14-year-old diagnosed with relapsed lymphoma, has successfully undergone the first-ever autologous stem cell transplant at RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain, and has now been discharged.
He looks forward to returning to school in Tarana tehsil and resuming a normal, healthy life.
This achievement reflects the power of advanced treatment, timely intervention, and unwavering resilience.

From battling a life-threatening brain tumour at just 3 years old to winning a gold medal at the National Para Taekwondo Championship, Gunika Sharma’s journey is a true testament to courage and resilience.
Her story reminds us that a diagnosis does not define a life—it can become the beginning of an extraordinary journey.
At TYAcan Foundation, we celebrate every warrior who turns their fight into strength and their survival into inspiration.

Every diagnosis is more than a medical condition, it’s a life changed, a family affected, and a journey that no one should face alone.
At TYAcan Foundation, we stand together with patients, families, and caregivers—offering support, strength, and compassion every step of the way.
Because together, we can make the journey a little easier.

Teenagers often remind us of powerful life lessons — courage to face uncertainty, the confidence to challenge the status quo, and the ability to take thoughtful risks while staying true to who they are.
Their resilience and authenticity inspire us to rethink, adapt, and grow every day.
