On 24.03.2026, security forces conducted simultaneous operations at multiple locations within the jurisdiction of Litan-PS, Ukhrul district. Bunkers were destroyed and dismantled at Lengiangching and Mongkat Chepu villages of both communities.
Number of fired cartridges were also recovered.
Following the operation during which bulk of the bunkers on both sides have been rendered ineffective, firing has reduced considerably. Area domination has been established by security agencies through patrolling in the area and strategic deployment of troops.
