1st June 2026: NIELIT Imphal conducted an Awareness Programmes on (AI) and at Martin Grammar School and MMS Genius Academy, Kakching, Manipur, on 1st June 2026. The sessions were led by Ms. Jemina Naorem and Ms. Shougaijam Christina Devi, who introduced students to emerging AI technologies, their real-world applications, and essential cyber safety practices for responsible digital citizenship.
A total of 112 students attended the programmes and gained valuable insights into AI and cyber security.

30 May 2026: Shri Laishram Darmoni, Assistant Professor, NIELIT Imphal, delivered a session on “Digital Evidence and Cyber Crime Handling for Lawyers” under the Computer Skill Enhancement Programme Level I & II for Advocates at the High Court of Manipur.

The session covered the fundamentals of digital evidence, cybercrime investigation, collection and preservation of electronic evidence, chain of custody, admissibility of electronic records, and handling of evidence from social media, emails, and messaging platforms. Practical examples and case studies were discussed to enhance participants' understanding of digital forensic procedures and cybercrime-related legal issues.
