Our team led by Surjoy Wangkheimayum went to cover The World Tourism Day organized at Chakpa Phayeng Village, which is located approx. 12-15 km from Imphal. Phayeng Village is located in the foothills of Kangchup Hills of Lamshang sub-division.
The event was held on Wednesday, 27th September 2017. The highlights of the events comprise of Cultural shows, traditional performances, music events, and local food & drinks.

Our team led by Surjoy Wangkheimayum went to explore Khoupum Waterfall which is located in Thanagong Khoupum Village, Tamenglong District. It is approximately 90 Km from the capital city Imphal. It took our team approximately 4 hours to reach the destination.
It is a great adventurous place for nature lover to visit specially during August-September.

Our team led by Surjoy Wangkheimayum went to explore "Mapao Zingsho khul" (Khul refers to as Village in Manipuri) which is located in Senapati District about 18-20 Km from the Captial City Imphal towards Pangei Road. It is inhabited by Tangkhul tribe with approx. 120 houses and about 1000 people. Mapao Zingsho Khul is the in Manipur. The village had hosted the in spectacular manner in September 2016.
The scenic view was breath-taking,the village is surrounded from all sides by lust green hills and clear blue sky with white clouds floating. An interesting legend shared by the locals that there is a cave in a hill near Mapao Khul, when rice husk or "Wai" is thrown down from this cave, the husk emerges at the Cave at Kangla.

, a prominent historical structure in the heart of the Imphal city, epitomizes the invincible patriotic spirit of Manipur. The Shaheed Minar was erected in memory of Yubaraj Bir Tikendrajit and General Thangal who were hung in public by British at this site on 13th August, 1891.The memorial is a minaret consisting of 3 vertical beams joining together at the top. At the tip of the memorial are 3 mythical dragons.
Shaheed Minar is at a walk-able distance from Kangla Fort, Ima market and Poana Bazar.
