We are excited to have the publishing house, Orient BlackSwan Schools contribute content to the Story Box.
The distinct content from the “Read the World” series of Orient BlackSwan has schools and students highly enthused – how interesting it is to learn how to write a good story, or to learn to read a book cover, a newspaper, or an animation strip among others!

We have steadily been setting up Story Boxes over the past many months and now have a presence across around a hundred locations. These are across the spectrum, including big international schools, low-budget schools and social welfare schools.
Story Box is proving to be valuable in different ways – it attracts students to libraries in the larger schools, and works as a self-contained library in itself where there are no libraries.
It reassures us that we are doing something worthwhile when we see a number of schools and learning spaces (like the Ramakrishna Math, Vidyaranya, Sanghamitra and many others) using the Story Box regularly for nearly 2 years now.
We are also encouraged when entities choose to share their valuable content through our network. This month, we are extremely happy to host customised content provided by the CSIR – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology. Practical content and a small nudge from experts at the CCMB will, we are certain, encourage students to look at Biology with more curiosity!
Here’s hoping to continue to spark an interest in reading, exploring and learning through Story Boxes.

Reaching for the Moon
It has been a year that Chandrayaan 3’s Vikram lander reached the Moon, and 55 years that Apollo 11’s Eagle lander carrying Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did.
A good time for us to recap the progress made by the astronomical community over the past 50 years. A good time also to understand why space research agencies around the world are shifting focus back to the Moon.
Join us this Saturday for a conversation with Dr. Najam Hasan and Dr. Priya Hasan.
