Ever looked at your life and thought:
“Who am I now?”
“What do I actually want?”
“Why does everything feel different?”
You’re not alone.
An identity crisis isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it happens quietly.
You outgrow a role.
A relationship changes.
Your children get older.
Your career no longer feels right.
Or one day you realize you’re living a life that no longer fits the person you’ve become.
In this episode of Figuring It Out (Mostly), we’re talking about what happens when the version of you that existed for years starts changing—and how unsettling, confusing, and surprisingly normal that can be.
We’ll explore:
✨ Why identity crises happen
✨ Outgrowing old dreams and expectations
✨ Feeling lost after major life changes
✨ The pressure to have everything figured out
✨ How to find your way when you’re not sure who you are anymore
If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, restless, or like you’re searching for yourself, this episode is for you.
Because sometimes losing your old identity isn’t the problem.
It’s the beginning of discovering a new one.

Some stories don’t just trend.
They expose something deeper.
Episode 4 of Figuring It Out (Mostly) talks about why the Epstein case hit people so differently, what it revealed about power, trust, and silence… and why so many people are feeling angry, disturbed, exhausted, or emotionally checked out lately.
This isn’t a conspiracy episode.
It’s a human one.
We’re talking about:
• why people feel emotionally overwhelmed by the news
• trust breaking in institutions and public figures
• doomscrolling and emotional burnout
• protecting your peace without ignoring reality
• and how to stay human in a world that constantly feels heavy

🎙️ EPISODE 3 – Is It Worth Losing Friends Over Politics? | Figuring It Out (Mostly)
Friendships are getting weird lately.
One opinion.
One debate.
One WhatsApp forward at 11:48 PM…
…and suddenly people are rethinking entire friendships.
So today, we’re talking about it:
👉 Is it actually worth losing friends over politics?
👉 How do you disagree without destroying relationships?
👉 What’s the difference between disagreement and disrespect?
👉 And how do you protect your peace without becoming dramatic about it?
This episode is funny, honest, practical, and painfully relatable.
Because sometimes the real issue isn’t politics…
it’s how people treat each other when emotions take over.
If you’ve ever:
✔ avoided replying in the group chat
✔ muted someone for “temporary peace”
✔ questioned a friendship after one heated argument
✔ or wanted boundaries without becoming the villain…
this one’s for you.

I’m Scared to Speak English — Let’s Fix That.
Today’s situation comes from something I have heard so much and from so many people.
“I can’t learn to speak English because nobody around me speaks English.”
And honestly? A lot of women feel this way.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Why your environment is not the real obstacle
- The actual reason speaking feels difficult
- How to practice English even if you have nobody to talk to
- The fear of sounding “wrong”
- And how confidence is built… not magically received
Also:
we’re normalizing awkward practice, bad pronunciation, and talking to yourself like a slightly confused motivational speaker.
Because self-reliance sometimes starts with saying one uncomfortable sentence out loud.
One slightly awkward step at a time.
I was told to stop.
After building my work for over a decade,
cervical neck and back issues made it difficult to continue…
and one simple sentence changed everything:
“Maybe you should give this up.”
And honestly?
I didn’t handle it well at first.
There was frustration.
There was self-pity.
There was a lot of “now what?”
But here’s what I realized—
just because you can’t continue the same way,
doesn’t mean it’s the end.
Sometimes… it’s a redirection.
In this episode, I talk about:
• What it feels like to lose something you built
• Why breakdowns don’t mean you’re done
• How I found a new path using my voice
If you’re feeling stuck, forced to change,
or like life isn’t going the way you planned
this might help.
We’re not fixing everything today.
We’re just taking the next step.
One slightly chaotic step at a time.
