I will not claim my mother-in-law cooks all items very well, nonetheless, there are few items which she has mastered. During her visits to us at Hyderabad the demand for those items would come not only from my husband but also from my kid. The taste would not be the same though. She would always say for the best results in cooking it is not only what should be added when and how much, but the utensils we use and the material we use for making the item. I would always think this was her defence argument. Several years later, I realise that those things actually matter to get the best taste.

The search for the items with which she would make and the kind of utensils she used for various items took us to many nook and corners of Hyderabad and getting them was one major event for us. We were never able to get all of them under one roof.

At BasicBrowns, we aim to bring under the single roof all the good things that our grandmas’ used in the kitchen with additions of organic cereals, grains and everything else at an affordable range. We also aim to provide the younger generation organic, eco-friendly sustainable living from the birth itself to make it their way of life.

We follow the simple principle in selecting the products and their sellers – if it is not good to be for my home, it is not good to be in our stores as well. Each product is carefully picked, packed and sent to you on purchase with a promise to make your life more eco-friendly to leave behind safer Earth for the next generations.
