I love the sound of the bells ( Ghungroo) since I was 3yrs.. Ma insisted me to wrap it with my life and it is wrapped till date by the grace of God🙏.. very much indebted to my only parents who had shown me the path to step forward..
My 1st Guru Smt Shilalipi Bhattacharya and then Prof Brajen Mukherjee taught me the basic knowledge of Kathak.. later continued with the ever striking, beautiful one and only a perfect Kathak Maestro Dr Malabika Mitra.. a small timing was shared with Pt Shankar Ghosh and Pt Rammohan Maharaj ji .. 🙏🙏
I always felt a good connection with my students and more than that with their guardians.. and all connections are till date connected.. and most of all Sandeep Neogi da, Subhasis Bhattacharyya da they supported me in every situation of my life. These 2 people are the pillars of my life. Other than this, my most loveliest ladies Mousumi Mondal and Monalisa Choudhury behave with me as teachers.
Can't leave a name, Atul, my husband who supported my bells all along my journey..
"GURU " means friend, philosopher and guide.. I got all the 3 things and for that I convey my pranam to all of them...
