Girls High School Rajpora embarked on a captivating exposure tour to ITI Baramulla, a significant step under the PM SHRI (Vocational Sector) initiative. *This enriching experience aimed to broaden students' horizons and introduce them to the diverse world of vocational sector.* The journey commenced at 10:00 AM, with students enthusiastically departing from the school in a well-organized manner in A-Class bases and reached the destination at 11:20 a.m.
*Upon arriving at ITI Baramulla at 11:20 AM, the students were warmly welcomed by the esteemed Principal and the dedicated faculty and a captivating presentation provided a comprehensive overview of ITI Baramulla, highlighting the institute's esteemed reputation and the wide array of vocational courses offered.* The students were then divided into three dynamic groups, each guided by knowledgeable faculty members. This facilitated an immersive exploration of various trades and skills, including:

Today On December 17, 2024, the Secondary Wing of PM SHRI, Govt. Girls High School Rajpora, Kupwara embarked on an enriching educational exposure tour to the esteemed ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH) in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. This premier institute, established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), plays a pivotal role in advancing research and development in temperate horticulture across the Himalayan region. The objective of this tour was to provide students with a firsthand understanding of modern horticultural practices, cutting-edge research, and the diverse range of temperate crops cultivated in the region.
The students departed from the school premises at 9:00 AM in A-class video coaches and arrived at ICAR-CITH, Srinagar, at 12:00 PM.

Upon arrival, the esteemed faculty and scientists warmly welcomed the students and staff and took them directly to a conference hall where a comprehensive presentation was delivered highlighting CITH's Mission which is to harness the vast potential of temperate horticultural crops in the region through research and development.

Our first destination was the prestigious SKUAST-Wadoora in Sopore. Arriving at 10:30 AM, the students were immersed in a world of agricultural wonders. This enriching experience through the proper guidance of the faculty from SKUAST provided invaluable insights:
