Monaco, nestled between France and Italy, the city-state bristles with towers made of gleaming glass and terraces offering stunning views over the sparkling Mediterranean sea.
Monaco has four traditional quarters. From west to east they are: Fontvieille, Monaco (the newest), Monaco-Ville (the oldest), La Condamine, and Monte-Carlo, Monaco
A great place to begin your journey is Monaco-Ville, the historic medieval core of Monaco. Monaco-Ville is one of Europe's most wondrous treasures as the district is packed with a wealth of upscale shops, cafes and fine restaurants as well as many of Monaco’s top attractions.

Cathédrale de Monaco is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Monaco where many of the Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly and more recently, Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
Of note are the retable (circa 1500) to the right of the transept, the Great Altar and the Episcopal throne in white Carrara marble.
Visit on a Sunday to hear mass sung. It is an experience you will not soon forget.

The Prince's Palace of Monaco is the official residence of the Sovereign Prince of Monaco. Since the end of the 13th century, it has been the home of the Grimaldi family. Each of the ruling Grimaldis has left a mark on the palace, resulting in one of the most eclectically elegant castles in Europe. Fifteen rooms are open to the public, and each gives way to more and more opulent treasures. The south wing is occupied by the Musee des Souvenirs Napoleoniens, featuring a collection of the military and political leader's personal objects.

One of Monaco's most famous attractions is the internationally renowned Musée océanographique de Monaco (Oceanographic museum). Built in 1910 at the dramatic edge of a cliff near the Monaco Cathedral, the museum is a real stunner. The museum is home to both vivid tropical fish and deep-sea predators. The museum's holdings also include a great variety of sea related objects, including model ships, sea animal skeletons, tools, weapons etc.
An aquarium in the basement of the museum presents a wide array of flora and fauna. Four thousand species of fish and over 200 families of invertebrates can be seen. The aquarium also features a presentation of Mediterranean and tropical marine ecosystems.
Visiting this place is like experiencing a whole other world, dripping with luxury, elegance and grace.

Morocco will surprise you with its amazing colors, smells and sounds of Islamic Africa, Spice markets, stunning mosques, white-washed sea side towns and medieval city centres.
Casablanca, Morocco widely known city of Morocco is home to the huge Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world.
Marrakesh, Morocco, is known as the "Red City". Go around wandering through and admiring the old gates and defensive walls, see the Saadian Tombs, the remnants of the Palais El Badi and visit the Koutoubia Mosque with its 12th century minaret. Head to Jama'a El Fna, Marrakech, in the evening which is the largest square in Africa, as it fills up with steam-producing food stalls. Indulge in the bustling activity there, listen to Arabic story tellers, watch magicians and Chleuh dancers.

For a more laid-back experience of city life, catch a sea breeze at Asilah or lovely Essaouira. The blue-washed town of Chefchaouen is an old time travelers' favorite and a great starting point to explore the impressive High Atlas Mountains. Climb Toubkal, the highest peak in North-Africa, passing lovely adobe villages and exploring the gorgeous Ourika and Amizmiz, Morocco valleys on the way. The stunning panoramic view from the top will make it worth every bit of your effort to get there.
Hop on a camel back for a trip through the golden Sahara sand dunes at Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga. Spend the night in a desert tent, under the incredibly starred sky.
Stop by to view the stunning Todra near Tinghir. The ancient fortified city of Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Morocco is another must-see sight. Moroccan cuisine is often reputed to be some of the best in the world, with countless dishes and variations proudly bearing the country's colonial and Arabic influences.

You can also enjoy Hammam (steam baths) across Morocco with tourist hammam, where you can go and be pampered and scrubbed by an experienced staff member. Or go for a more local experience with "popular" Hammam where locals go.

When thinking of Europe, Latvia is probably not one of the first countries to spring to your mind. However, this Baltic country is sure to surprise you with its charm. Latvia's dynamic capital, the historic city of Riga, Latvia, is a great place to spend some time. Among Riga's best sights are the impressive Riga Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, Riga and the bustling Central Market.
It has one of the longest sand beaches in Europe, a charming town centre with a colorful mixture of magnificent Jugendstil architecture, winding cobble stoned lanes and many steeples. Yet, it is a modern, metropolitan city with a vibrant nightlife.
At just 40 km from the capital is Sigulda, with the nicely reconstructed Turaida Castlestle, an interesting castle museum as well as the deep Gutmanis Cave . The town is beautifully located in The Gauja Valley and has been called the "Switzerland of Latvia" for its steep cliffs and banks. It's known for its winter sports opportunities and makes a great base for explorations of the fine nature around it. The largest national park is the densely forested Gauja National Park in the River Gauja valley. Slītere National Park has the stunning beach of Cape Kolka, Kurzeme, Latvia, where the Gulf of Riga meets the Baltic Sea.
Sigulda is popular for bird watching. There are also many trekking opportunities at all difficulty levels, from short walks in old parks up to several day camping and boating trips. It is popular to go for a stroll in the autumn to watch the different shades of color, when the trees turn red and yellow.
You can enjoy winter sports like snowboarding, cross country skiing, downhill skiing etc. Major ski facilities include Rāmkalni Baiļi, and Zviedru Cepure. Some of the slopes are open late at night.
Kuldīga boasts Europe's widest, though at two meters high unspectacular, water fall. It's part of the Venta Rapid, one of Latvia's natural monuments.
The best time to travel to Latvia is from June to mid-September, when it is warm and plenty of local food is available. So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and book your tickets and get ready to unravel this unique beauty.

John Muir once said "you should never go to Alaska as a young man, because you'll never be satisfied with any other place as long as you live.To the lover of wilderness Alaska is one of the most wonderful places in the world." Alaska "The Last Frontier" ; As Alaska is big, so too is its beauty. A vast, uninhabited wilderness overwhelms the comparatively small cities in the state, such as commercial-minded Anchorage, Alaska and tucked away Juneau, Alaska (a curious state capital with no road access). This natural beauty can be enjoyed while hiking, paddling, and fishing in the great outdoors, especially as the state and national parks here are some of the largest in the United States.Though there are a number of museums and other tourist attractions in the major centers, towns are perhaps more accurately used as jumping-off points for exploring the Alaskan wilds such as Denali National Park and Preserve and Kenai Fjords National Park. But wherever your sightseeing may take you, the scale of Alaska is sure to impress.
