Where ๐ณ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ becomes ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ, and form becomes ๐ฒ๐
This sculptural bench explores the intersection of ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ต๐ณ๐บ, ๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ข๐ญ ๐ธ๐ข๐ณ๐ฎ๐ต๐ฉ, and ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ฆ๐ต ๐จ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ตโemerging through ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป where repetition becomes rhythm and structure transforms into surface.
Formed from layered ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ribs, the piece unfolds as a continuous curveโguiding the body, blurring the line between ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ and ๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ.
What defines this piece is its exploration of
Precision-cut sections and contours are accentuated with ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐น๐ฎ๐๐โintroduced within the notches to create moments of contrast and continuity. Two subtle layers of brass break the visual monotony, adding depth, rhythm, and a refined material dialogue.
At its core, a sculpted brass element stands as a point of stillnessโbalancing the fluidity of the wooden form.
Together, wood and brass create a conversation between:
More than a seat, it becomes a
This piece is part of an ongoing series by ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐[๐๐๐], reflecting over a decade of exploration in ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ณ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒโranging from benches and tables to wall units and spatial installations.

A moment between ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ and ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ.
This piece explores the threshold between ๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ญ๐ญ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ด and ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ตโcapturing the collective ascent of butterflies as a sculptural expression of flight.
Emerging from the ground in a choreographed formation, the installation translates a fleeting moment into a ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ปโwhere geometry becomes motion.
Rather than a singular object, it forms an ๐ถ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑโwhere density shifts from grounded solidity to airy dispersion, suggesting ๐ญ๐ช๐ง๐ต, ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ, and ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ด๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ.
The ๐ด๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ surface interacts with light, giving the piece a radiant, almost ๐ข๐ญ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ช๐ค presenceโgrounded in material, yet reaching toward the infinite.
This installation is part of an evolving series by ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐[๐๐๐], explored across scales and contextsโ
from a large-scale permanent installation at Kochi Airport in stainless steel,
to bespoke residential installations,
and now presented here in a refined brass finish with a stainless steel base.

A moment suspended between ๐ด๐ฒ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ and ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐.
Crafted in ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ, this piece explores a carefully articulated ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑโwhere ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น and ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ-๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ merge into a fluid, algorithmic surface.
Within this field, ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐-๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ emergeโvarying in scale, rhythm, and densityโforming a ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ณ๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐.
The result is a composition that feels both ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ฒ and ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ, where mathematics transforms into motion.
What makes this piece particularly special is its exploration of ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ญ๐ต๐ช-๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐บโthe warmth and natural grain of wood, sculpted through ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป and craftsmanship, contrasted with the reflective elegance of brass inlays.
Each layer reveals a dialogue between:
๐ค๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ฆ and ๐ค๐ณ๐ข๐ง๐ต
๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ค๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ and ๐ง๐ญ๐ถ๐ช๐ฅ๐ช๐ต๐บ

Did you know?
For parametric surfaces, even minor inconsistencies in material can distort the final outcome. HDHMRโs uniform density ensures that every CNC pass behaves predictably โ critical for maintaining geometric fidelity.
Because precision isnโt just designed โ itโs manufactured.
