ISF conducted two days workshop on Robotics, which as a career choice is gaining popularity among the current generation of students. Robots are machines that can either independently or on command carry out a series of operations and functions. Learning through robotics can be more effective in engaging the students and also instil scientific temperament in them. Technology is what drives the world today and students must be adept with the latest developments to be a productive member of the society.

It's 2020 and ISF is here with yet another interesting event 'THE ROBOTICS WORKSHOP'. The 3-day workshop focuses not only on the foundations for building a small-sized robot but will also provide hands-on experience for the candidates participating in it.

ISF conducted two days workshop on Internet of things (IoT) which is the most demanding and fastest growing technology in the industry. Iot is a concept that connects all devices to the internet and let them communicate with each other over the internet. It creates opportunity to directly connect and integrate the physical world to the computer based systems using sensors and internet. The workshop addressed all the query of student’s related to Iot. Moreover, through hands-on learning and live project demonstration, student’s experienced the basic application of Iot.

As a tech-hungry nation flushed with cash gets ready to upgrade to the next generation of lightning-fast 5G devices, there is a surprising environmental cost to be reckoned with a fresh mountain of obsolete gadgets. Electronic Waste or used electronics which are destined for refurbishment, reuse, resale, salvage recycling through material recovery, or disposal are all considered E-waste. The developing countries have become toxic dump yards of e-waste with Norway being the highest producer and India is at 5th position. In this regard, IETE STUDENT’S FORUM (ISF) organized "E-Waste Collection" program on 6 October 2019 with an aim to collect E-waste and make best use of valuable components.

Our 2 days Arduino workshop focused on briefing about technical aspects of hardware. The workshop addressed students regarding Arduino , Micro-controller, Microprocessors, Sensors, Buzzer and Motor application through hands-on learning. The interactive and skill building session helped the students to think inventively in solving real-world problems.

ISF invites you all to yet another workshop on Internet Of Things to be held on 9th-10th October from 5:00-7:30 PM.

ISF has planned to organize 2-days workshop on Arduino board , scheduled on 30th September (Monday) and 1st October (Tuesday) from 5 pm onwards in LT-2.
Arduino is a micro-controller which serves as a basis for IOT which is a present demand of the society, we expect your presence to enhance your technical skills.
